The Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) jointly with the Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) and Local Medical Committee (LMC) have made a decision to change repeat prescription ordering systems. GP practices are being requested to no longer accept repeat prescription requests from third parties (pharmacy).

From the 4th January you will no longer be able to order your prescription through the pharmacy. Please order only what you need 7 days before you run out and allow at least 4 working days before collecting your medication from the pharmacy or 5-6 for delivery.

Order online via your GP practice website

First register with your GP Practice for their online services.   To do this, visit your Practice with photo ID (passport or driving licence) and complete a short form.   Ask a family member or carer if you need help or speak to your local Practice.

Order In person at the surgery

Simply tick the medicines required on the white part of the prescription, tear-off section of your prescription and drop it into your GP Practice.
